What does KSNC do?
- Registration of GNM, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc, M.Sc Nursing and ANM qualified candidates in the state register.
- Renewal of registration at regular intervals.
- NOC / transfer when a Karnataka-registered nurse wants to register with another state council.

The official KSNC portal is ksnc.karnataka.gov.in. Nurses create an online account there and use it to apply for services, upload documents, pay fees online and book appointments. Recent updates reported by nurses say renewal now uses Aadhaar-based OTP and DigiLocker e-KYC, and some services are handled through an official KSNC mobile app — always follow the instructions shown on the official portal.
Tip: Type the address yourself or use a bookmark. Fake look-alike sites exist for nursing councils (Delhi Nursing Council, for example, has publicly warned about a fake URL). A genuine council never asks for payment through WhatsApp, UPI to a personal number, or a link sent by a stranger.
